Role Purpose:

You will help enable data‑driven prevention, detection, and investigation of losses and security risks by building and operating analytics and reporting that improve shrinkage control and incident response. You will be working with people of from different departments, leveraging a wide range of industry expertise to identify abnormal behaviours - while simultaneously developing your personal brand as a foremost expert in retail analytics.

A typical day in this Role:

Assist in developing anomaly/outlier detection and trend analyses; creating executive dashboards and weekly/monthly packs for shrink, case throughput, and investigation outcome; providing drill‑downs for security leads and store ops; and running experiments to quantify the impact of new controls, training, and tooling.
Assist in the compiling of the quarterly summary report for Senior Management in a timely and accurate manner; and support field teams with self‑serve reports.
Assist in the exploration and application of new security technologies in stores and warehouses.
Handle internal and external enquiries, in a professional manner, by providing them guidance and information.

Success will depend on:

Academic background in Data/ Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or relevant disciplines
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Data/ BI) are a plus
Good understanding of the consumer business/ retail/ FMCG industries is an advantage
Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
Able to work under pressure and committed to meeting deadlines
Fluent in English and Chinese
