Academic departments within the College include Chinese Literature, English, Journalism and Communication, Business Administration, Accounting and Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, and Architecture. The College is registered as an Approved Post Secondary College under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap 320), with all degree programmes accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).

The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree or above, proficiency in Chinese and English, and at least 10 years’ relevant hands-on management in the field of tertiary education.

The Registrar is responsible for overseeing a wide range of functions including formulation of appropriate academic policies, procedures and regulations governing the development and approval of academic programmes, student recruitment, admission, enrolment & registration, scheduling of classes, assessment and examinations, student academic conduct, graduation and the award of honours. He/ She should be familiar with academic standards, and should have adequate experience in accreditation exercises, in communication with Education Bureau and HKCAAVQ, as well as in student recruitment. He/ She also directs the daily operation of the Student Admissions and Administration Office and works closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, supervises administrative and clerical staff, and performs any other duties as assigned.
