Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with internal sector and regional teams to plan and implement marketing initiatives that highlight the city's strengths as a premier international business and investment destination.

Main duties include:

Creating and refreshing a variety of marketing collateral, incorporating the most recent policy updates and business landscape changes in the region;
Assisting with content creation efforts, such as reviewing, translating, and polishing materials for digital platforms, websites, brochures, and printed publications;
Crafting engaging social media updates, including visual graphics, for multiple channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), WeChat, and Weibo;
Sourcing, liaising with, and managing external partners (e.g., creative agencies, production studios, and suppliers) to develop advertising designs and promotional items;
Working with cross-functional and international teams to coordinate activities and prepare progress summaries;
Managing vendor quotes, invoice processing, payments, and related administrative/procurement tasks;
Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the marketing and communications team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Hong Kong or equivalent qualification; a postgraduate degree or professional certification in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is highly desirable.
At least 5 years of full-time professional experience in areas such as journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, or investment/business promotion.
Prior experience collaborating with external agencies or vendors on developing and delivering marketing or PR campaigns is a strong advantage.
Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin/Putonghua) and English, with proven ability to communicate effectively in multicultural settings.

Key Skills & Attributes:

Strong experience in developing and rolling out comprehensive marketing plans and promotional activities for professional and general audiences.
Good business understanding and marketing know-how, with real interest in highlighting a vibrant international business hub.
Track record of creating and sustaining effective relationships with key external partners and contacts.
Skill in turning business goals into engaging, targeted global marketing and outreach initiatives that connect with the right people.
Solid awareness of the local business and economic environment.
