About the Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking Technology Excellence Analyst to bridge business objectives and technical execution, driving innovation through intelligent system adoption and Agile project alignment. This role blends business acumen with technical literacy, focusing on translating business needs into actionable technical strategies while leveraging open-source and cloud-native technologies. You will coordinate vendor engagements, analyze technical solutions for business fit, and stay abreast of emerging technologies to support transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates are adaptable, curious about the intersection of business and technology, and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business-aligned technical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agile Project Alignment & Coordination
- Partner with the Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives), manage Jira/Confluence artifacts (backlogs, task trackers, documentation), and ensure technical activities align with business priorities and Agile principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track task progress, analyze project risks/blockers from a business perspective, and contribute to timely delivery of project milestones that meet business goals.
2. Business-Technology Solution Analysis
- Analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend scalable technical solutions (automation workflows, predictive analytics modules, cloud pipelines) using open-source tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Dify, n8n), ensuring alignment with business value and operational efficiency.
- Assess system security, compliance, and governance frameworks to ensure technical solutions adhere to internal protocols, industry standards, and business risk tolerance.
3. Vendor & Procurement Coordination & Analysis
- Support vendor selection and procurement processes by analyzing business cases, conducting ROI assessments, and assisting in managing RFP documentation and vendor engagements to secure solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, providing insights on technical capabilities and trade-offs throughout the vendor partnership lifecycle.
4. BAU Support & Compliance Alignment
- Provide business-focused support for ongoing systems, analyze complex technical issues to identify business impacts, and advocate for minor to moderate enhancements that improve system performance and business efficiency.
- Oversee alignment of technical operations with internal policies and regulatory standards, integrating compliance checks into business-focused technical workflows.
5. Innovation & Business-Technology Trend Analysis
- Research emerging technology trends (e.g., generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI) to assess their business applicability, pilot new tools and frameworks, and propose adoption strategies that enhance business capabilities.
- Promote a culture of cross-functional learning by leading workshops, documenting business-technical processes, and facilitating knowledge-sharing between business and technical teams.
6. Project Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
- Prepare and present project progress updates, technical roadmaps, and business impact insights to stakeholders and business partners, ensuring clarity on how technical outcomes support business goals.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly narratives that guide decision-making, support business transformation, and align stakeholders on technical direction.
7. Cross-Functional Business-Technical Collaboration
- Collaborate with Project Management, Business Analysis, Development, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end project delivery (from ideation to production) aligns with business requirements and priorities.
- Lead business-focused technical tasks, ensuring alignment with team objectives and delivering outcomes that drive business value and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in bridging business and technology, with exposure to intelligent systems, AI-related technologies, or technical solution analysis for business needs.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project delivery frameworks and familiarity with Jira/Confluence to coordinate business-technical alignment is highly desirable.
- Exposure to cloud-native technologies, automation tools, or data pipelines, with the ability to analyze their business applications, is an advantage.
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Python programming language and familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) to effectively analyze technical solutions.
- Understanding of containerization (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to assess scalable infrastructure from a business value perspective.
- Experience with analyzing MLOps, data pipelines, and open-source automation tools (e.g., Dify, n8n, Airflow) for business applicability is advantageous.
- Strong ability to assess system security, compliance, and governance practices through a business risk and value lens.

- Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field that combines business and technical knowledge.
- Agile (CSM/PSM), cloud, or business analysis certifications are preferred but not required.
- Language:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) – able to communicate technical information clearly to business stakeholders and translate business needs to technical teams.
- Fluency in Cantonese is required.
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
