HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

Assist in organising mega events such as Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival and Chinese New Year Parade
Source, identify, engage and monitor service contractors for smooth operations of the mega events in accordance with the organisation's policy
Source and identify payment solution, online purchase solution and latest event technology for possible area of improvement for event planning and staging
Liaise, co-ordinate and follow-up with government departments, related authorities and venue owners for event planning and execution
Assist in fair management aspects as assigned, such as application of necessary licenses/ permits as required, onsite supervision, and etc
Gather market information and conduct background research to facilitate effective event planning
Assist to identify and liaise with event management/ production companies for event implementation in accordance with Hong Kong Tourism Board's specifications/ requirements
Build, categorise and maintain a systematic database of contractor for future event development
Perform clerical duties, handle office procurement and administer documentation
Undertake any other duties/ special assignments as directed by the supervisor

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

University graduate preferably in Marketing / Communications / Event Management disciplines
3 years or above solid experience in organising large scale events and liaison with government departments for venue operation and license application is advantageous
A proactive, responsible and self-disciplined team player who is capable of handling unexpected changes/ situations in outdoor event preparation and staging
Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to deliver quality work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
Immediately available is preferred
