Contract Ticketing Operation Officer (Hong Kong Cultural Centre; LCSD)

Contract period: till April 2026

Salary: 1341.5 per day

Job duties:

(a) To work closely with system contractor for the follow-up the post-implementation of the URBTIX ticketing system, such as conducting new features / functions research, producing performance analysis and report, consolidating the recommendations for the refinement and development of the URBTIX ticketing system;
(b) To monitor operational issues in the implementation of new features/functions in the event set-ups. perform internal event set-ups checking and report any irregularities to the system contractor;
(c) To perform event set-up works for events from time-to-time;
(d) To manage all aspects of ticketing services to URBTIX users including update of ticketing information, implementation of E-ticket, reservation /release of seats, arrangement for issuing complimentary / consignment tickets, answering enquiries from the event presenters, and to provide ticket sales report and seating plans, if required;
(e) To provide customer support to the event presenter for facilitating the event publicity on the website and the refund services between event presenter and system contractor, etc. and
(f) To act as Duty Manager to oversee the operation of the Ticketing Office during non-office hours, weekends and public holidays and perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Job requirement:
(a) A permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) Have a Hong Kong Bachelor Degree, or equivalent;
(c) Have met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent Note;
Note:
Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority will he subject to further assessment on equivalence with the required entry qualifications by the Ticketing Office.
(d) Good interpersonal and supervisory skills, customer oriented and detail-minded;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese and good typing skills including Chinese and English;
(f) With at least two (2) years of full-time working experience, preferably in the field of arts administration or information technology and at least one (1) year of solid hands-on working experience in operating computerized ticketing system for event setup of performing arts or entertainment events and handling of service requests, enquiries and complaints from customers including event presenters and ticket buyers; and
(g) Good computer knowledge and proficiency in application of MS Office and Photoshop are necessary.
