Responsibilities
- Establish, implement and maintain a documented quality management system to control all work activities of design and build project
- Prepare project specific quality plan to meet contractual requirements
- Approve inspection and test approval plan for each major item of works and ensure its implementation in proper sequence
- Set up the workflow to control critical processes in submission, review and approval status
- Document all relevant inspection and test records
- Evaluate quality performance of external consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Lead to conduct internal audit of quality management system and site works
- Analyze root cause of non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Arrange external party for the audit of quality management system
- Report to quality related matters and follow up actions in project quality meetings
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by project director
Requirements
- Degree in Building/ Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered membership of professional institution is preferable
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in construction industry, preferably in large scale project of civil or building works
- Participated in design and build project is an advantage
- Conversant with management system development, implementation and internal audit (e.g. ISO 9001 or other management systems)
- Excellent interpersonal skill and proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese
- Conversant with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Candidate willing to be stationed in Macau is preferred
- Holder of Macau ID is preferred
