THE JOB

Reporting to the High Performance Administration Manager, the Assistant High Performance Administration Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

Provide input to the proposal, implementation and evaluation of the Elite Training Programmes/ Initiatives and support to elite athletes;
Assist Elite Coaching Departments in the development and implementation of Elite Training Programmes and High Performance Objectives;
Coordinate the administration and funding of the Elite Coaching Departments, ensuring the effective use of various resources according to value-for-money principles;
Coordinate with NSAs on programme planning and effective resources allocation for the Elite Training Programmes;
Coordinate and provide regular updates on the Elite Vote Support System for Elite Sports;
Administer the Direct Financial Support schemes for athletes and various funding programmes for NSAs under HKSI’s system;
Coordinate with other internal departments and outside organizations on support to Elite Sports and athletes;
Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENTS

A university degree;
A minimum of 4 years' relevant working experience or equivalent;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
High level of computer literacy; and
Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.
