Responsibilities

Strategic Support: Assist Senior Management of the University in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Project Management: Manage various special projects to ensure timely execution and in alignment with university goals. Provide integrated solutions that address cross-functional needs and enhance overall project effectiveness.
Coordination: Coordinate with various units to keep track of and take forward cross-disciplinary project progress and performance metrics. Facilitate the integration of efforts across different functions to achieve cohesive outcomes.
Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration. Ensure effective communication with good understanding by all parties involved.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefing materials for the Senior Management in bilingual format as needed.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research on best practices and trends with facts and data to inform evidence-based decision-making for application across multiple functions to drive innovation and efficiency.
Office Administration: Carry out other job duties as assigned, including providing secretariat support to various committees, boards and working groups. Ensure that other administrative functions are properly conducted as assigned.
Community Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that solutions and outcomes will be community-focused and inclusive.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Laws, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
At least 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in consultancy or project management; experience in academic institutions is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and drive strategic planning and coordinate change management efforts while aligning with management priorities
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), with demonstrated ability to draft professional documents in Mainland-style Chinese (e.g., reports, MOUs, proposals).
Proven track record of working effectively with diverse teams and managing multiple priorities.
Strong data analytical skills to support decision-making and project management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
