Responsibilities
The appointee will be a key member of the team to help enhance the image and reputation of the University. He/She will be required to:
- Manage and coordinate large-scale, high-profile ceremonies, events, banquets, and stakeholder engagement activities, including but not limited to the University’s Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony, Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony, Congregation, Flag-raising ceremonies, etc
- Develop and execute digital and offline marketing initiatives and projects, including corporate videos, promotional brochures, and managing social media platforms, to enhance the University’s visibility and convey its unique brand image and positioning
- Drive stakeholder and community engagement communications through events and activities
- Generate and curate stories of interest within the University community
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A recognised degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 10 years of solid experience and track record in corporate communications, public affairs, marketing, and event management
- Extensive knowledge in social media
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua being an advantage
- Ability to handle projects independently and meet tight schedules
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
