EAST Dining Management, part of Swire Hotels, situated in the vibrant Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay, where a culinary journey awaits. Our diverse selection of dining venues ranges from the exquisite fine dining experience at Té Bo, to the café and community hub, Domain, and the local flavours of Tong Chong Kitchen. Job Overview

This role supports the Engineering team to maintain a pristine and well-organised hotel environment. We prioritise our guests in every aspect of their journey with us. Those who are passionate about meeting new people, making a spontaneous impression, and think out of the box will enjoy this role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical advice and support to clients for all kitchen equipment and E&M facilities.
Prepare, assess and analyse repair and maintenance quotations from contractors, provide recommendations and follow up with tendering
Implement and monitor on-site works, follow up with renovation and improvement projects and liaise with technical consultants and contractors.
Participate in establishing, monitoring and controlling of budget, working methods, procedures and standards to ensure works effectiveness, efficiency, safe and quality.
Be responsible for the day-to-day engineering operation, repairs & maintenance of a mixed property portfolio in both ad hoc, emergency and routine operation.
Supervise in-house technicians and out-side contractors to provide full support on both quality and safety in equipment and labour.

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

Minimum 4 years relevant experience in hospitality. 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity of repair and maintenance or construction and installation of building facilities and utilities will be an advantage.
Diploma or above in Engineering or related disciplines. Higher certificate in Engineering with relevant working experience may also be considered.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Excellent communications and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing. Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License (Grade A or B). Software knowledge in CAD will be an advantage.
