We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education & Languages :

Part-time Technical Assistant (E&L) - (25001WV)

Major Duties And Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

Providing support for various research seminars, workshops, conferences and activities/events organized by RIBiLT and the School;
Assisting staff in different types of research activities; and
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of E&L or his nominee.

Candidates

Qualifications

Our current initiative is to offer our undergraduates the opportunity to receive work training before graduation. Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

Current undergraduate students in HKMU;
Major in Education, Language Studies, Advertising, Marketing or Design-related discipline is preferred;
Good written and oral communication skills in English;
Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
Good interpersonal and organizational skills; and
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions. The appointment period will be between September/October 2025 and August 2026.
