Museum Assistant

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree from a Hong Kong university, majoring in History, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Education, Media Communications, or other heritage and cultural related fields, or equivalent;

- At least 2 years of relevant full-time working experience in museums, galleries, archives or cultural institutes. Proven experience in managing social media platforms and websites is preferable;

- Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), or equivalent;

- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage; and

- Good knowledge in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Chinese character processing. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/ InDesign/ Illustrator is an advantage.

Duties :

- To organize and execute education and public programmes;

- To organize exhibitions;

- To conduct research, field studies, provide information and assist in drafting and editing exhibition text and publicity; and

- To provide any other services related to research, education, education and public programmes.
