Description

As an Internal Audit AVP, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing internal audit activities to ensure compliance within the accounting and finance department.
Developing and implementing auditing strategies to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks within the insurance industry.
Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior management for review.
Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks in Hong Kong.
Providing guidance and support to junior team members to foster professional development.
Monitoring financial processes to maintain data integrity and reliability.
Recommending best practices to streamline accounting and finance operations.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven expertise within the insurance industry or a similar field.
Internal Audit is a must
Big 4 is highly preferred
Solid knowledge of internal audit frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address risks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with teams.
A proactive mindset and attention to detail in delivering high-quality results.
