Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) Office

The Role

The JUPAS Office is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join the Administration and Operation Team. The appointee will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support, with key duties including:

General office administration and support;
Bookkeeping and accounting works, process quotations, payments and purchase orders;
Operational support and user acceptance test (UAT) for the JUPAS digital platforms;
Handling and managing application data;
Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

Applicants should preferably possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of administrative and clerical experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates with good academic background and proactive attitude will also be considered.

Applicants should have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably with fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua), effective communication, coordination and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining high data accuracy and consistency. Applicants should have a good numerical sense and an appropriate level of IT skills. Applicants should also be a good team player with self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility; and be flexible to prioritise tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on full-time contract for 1 year, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
