Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) Office

The Role

The appointee is expected to:

handle enquiries through various channels, including email, chatbot, telephone and in-person interactions;
provide administrative and operational support to the JUPAS applications;
be proficiency in computer applications (including MS Office Suite and Chinese word processing) and experienced in system UAT;
assist in establishing new channels of communication, and
perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

Applicants should preferably possess a good University degree in Language/Translation/Communication or related discipline with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience. Non-degree holders with 5 years’ relevant experience in customer service/ education field will also be considered. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably with fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua), good computer literacy, strong communication and interpersonal skills and proper customer service etiquette. They should be meticulous to maintain high data accuracy and consistency; able to work independently with a responsible and pro-active attitude; can work under pressure and meet tight deadline and be a good team player. Knowledge in CRM system, database management would be advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with experience gained from tertiary institutions, public bodies and/or in customer service-oriented positions. Fresh graduates with good academic background will also be considered.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on full-time contract for 1 year, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
