The Food & Beverage (F&B) City Manager will oversee and coordinate all F&B services and operations across multiple centres within the city, with a focus on managing baristas and F&B teammates to ensure consistent, high-quality service and operational excellence.
This role drives revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by implementing standardised processes, fostering team development, and innovating F&B offerings aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all centres deliver a seamless and engaging F&B experience, while also managing day-to-day operational performance and financial targets.
Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee daily F&B operations across all centres, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory, supply chain, and vendor relationships to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Implement operational enhancements through technology (POS systems, inventory management, etc.), staff training, and process improvements.
Ensure all centres adhere to group Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Regularly assess and improve operations to maintain consistent service excellence across the city.
Guarantee adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with governmental guidelines across all F&B operations.
Support planning and execution of F&B-related events and catering services to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Hold and maintain the liquor license for Hong Kong centres, ensuring all F&B operations adhere to licensing laws and regulations and be present in-person for necessary inspections.
Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of baristas and F&B staff across all centres, fostering a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular training, and provide coaching to enhance skills and operational standards.
Build a motivated, customer-focused team aligned with the company’s values and service standards.
Foster collaboration among centres to share best practices and promote a unified service approach.
Financial Performance
Oversee and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement for each location, driving revenue growth and cost optimisation.
Manage budgets, implement cost control measures, and develop sales and marketing strategies to effectively drive revenue growth.
Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports to respective reporting lines, detailing key performance metrics, trends, and actionable insights for improvement.
Strategy and Innovation
Develop and implement creative strategies for F&B, focusing on various aspects such as menu development, pricing, and promotional initiative, which align with company goals and brand standards.
Conduct local market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for innovative F&B concepts and product offers.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Work with the Marketing Team to design effective campaigns that enhance sales and client engagement.
Collaborate with Centre Teams to identify and resolve operational challenges while streamlining processes for operational efficiency.
Alongside F&B HQ, roll out new initiatives and ensure compliance with F&B standards and quality standards, as well as Origo brand guidelines.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality procurement and cost-effective inventory management.
Develop and implement cross-promotion strategies that drive sales and enhance client outreach with other Service Revenue verticals.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospitality, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in a multi-unit setting.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing Food & Beverage teams.
Operational Expertise : Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, inventory management, supply chain, and vendor relations.
Financial Acumen : Experience managing Profit & Loss, budgets, cost control, and revenue growth strategies.
Compliance & Licensing : Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Must hold (or qualify to hold) a Hong Kong liquor license and ensure full compliance with regulation (in-person availability for inspections required).
Communication & Collaboration : Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Client Focus : Commitment to delivering high-quality service and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Language : Good command in both written and spoken English is required, with Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.
Must have the right to work in Hong Kong.
