We are looking for JAPANESE SPEAKING CORPORATE AFFAIRS OFFICER – with details as follows :

THE JOB :

Report to Native Japanese Team Head
ROLE SUMMARY : Provide full spectrum of support related to corporate affairs including but not limited to : internal control, corporate governance, compliance, risk management & legal affairs
Support the drafting, revision, and ongoing review of internal policies, ensuring alignment with corporate governance standards and timely documentation on internal systems.
Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including J-SOX and operational audits, by maintaining relevant audit records and facilitating communication with auditors.
Assist in maintaining internal control frameworks by completing self-assessment documentation and offering guidance to departments on compliance-related procedures.
Organize annual compliance and risk awareness training (both online and in-person), while fostering understanding of anti-corruption measures and governance best practices across the organization.
Provide support for legal and regulatory affairs, including contract review, responding to legal inquiries, and managing documentation related to corporate obligations.
Conduct and document risk assessments annually, distributing findings internally to support enterprise-wide risk management.
Provide regular updates on key legal and governance matters, support internal communications between management and finance/accounting functions, and assist in translating and interpreting compliance-related content.
Prepare concise, accurate reports and materials for executive meetings related to governance, compliance, and risk oversight.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Law, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of internal control and compliance frameworks such as US-SOX and J-SOX.
Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with strong communication and interpretation abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in compliance, audit coordination, or legal support functions is preferred.
5 days work
13 months salary + performance bonus
