Part-time Senior Research Assistant, S.K. Yee School of Health Sciences (Ref.: 25/90/HS/SRA)

Duties:

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in all research-related activities, including:

(a) conducting psychiatric assessments and consultations

(b) providing professional advice and information to participants

(d) liaising and communicating with healthcare professionals

(e) conducting crisis interventions, if needed

(f) performing any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates

Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should have:

have a recognised master degree in psychiatric nursing or an equivalent qualification
be a registered psychiatric nurse with over 10 years of psychiatric nursing experience
have a psychiatric nursing speciality qualification
have experience in conducting mental assessments of individuals with early psychosis, depression, and anxiety disorders
have a good track record of research and publication
have a passion for interacting with youths who have mental distress
have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work independently

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
