Responsibilities:

Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance and support on various business initiatives to eliminate or minimize legal risks.
Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and legal documentation with vendors, medical network and business partners.
Advise on legal requirements and regulatory development to ensure that business units are legally compliant and aware of internal policies when formulating business plans.
Advise on legal issues and requirements on general matters (e.g. employment, agents / broker, data privacy, etc.) and ad hoc matters to achieve corporate objectives.
Develop and maintain legal policies, controls and templates to streamline day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.

Qualifications:

Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience from leading law firms or in-house. Legal experience in the insurance / financial services industry is advantageous.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese). Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
Commercially minded, with strong stakeholder management skills
