Officer (Complaints and Enforcement) (Ref. No.: PMSA-OCE-21/25)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager (Complaints and Enforcement), the appointee will be required to:

handle enquiries, complaints and conduct enforcement inspections properly and timely;
collect and analyse evidence for disciplinary cases in accordance with the PMSO and other relevant ordinances;
carry out investigations and gather evidence for alleged disciplinary offences;
assist in preparing various case reports and statistical reports, etc.;
prepare for and attend disciplinary hearings and court as witness; and
undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Tertiary education or above in any disciplines;
A minimum of 1 year relevant working experience;
Experience in handling complaints and customer service will be an advantage;
Enforcement experience in governmental departments/ statutory bodies/ authorities will be an advantage;
Good commend in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably attained Level 3 or above in HKDSEE, or Grade “C” or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent);
Good report writing skills;
A team player with strong sense of responsibility and communications skills; and
Independent, empathetic, possesses good common sense and able to work under pressure.

A three-year employment contract will be offered. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
