Main duties
The main duties of an Artisan include:
(a) conducting daily inspection of premises, facilities and equipment and reporting any faults found for rectification;
(b) liaising with relevant works departments and contractors and monitoring the progress and quality of the maintenance and repair works;
(c) performing plumbing or electrical works, as well as minor works related to building decoration and maintenance in the LegCo Complex, and/or other LegCo premises;
(d) setting up audio-visual equipment for meetings; and
(e) performing any other duties as required.
The appointee will be required to work shift duties and outside normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Entry requirements
Candidates should:
(a) preferably have completed Form 3;
(b) have completed full apprenticeship or other approved courses of practical training in appropriate trades (e.g. plumbing/electrical/mechanical/building decoration and maintenance/painting and decoration) and possess at least two years’ relevant experience in these trades;
(c) preferably be holders of the Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade A); and
(d) be holders of the Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (i.e. the “Green Card”).
The Secretariat may devise further criteria to shortlist applicants.
Remuneration
The starting salary is $19,535 per month, increasing by three annual increments to $23,585. There is also a monthly cash allowance for the rank of Artisan (the current rate is $360 per month). The successful candidate will be appointed on three-year agreement terms subject to renewal upon satisfactory completion of service, at which the appointee will be eligible for an end-of-agreement gratuity. The gratuity, when added to the employer’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme, is equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the agreement period. Fringe benefits include paid leave as well as medical and dental benefits. Outstanding performers may be considered for promotion to a higher rank.

主要職責
技工的主要職責包括:

(e) 在有需要時執行其他工作。
受聘人須輪班工作及於正常辦公時間以外(包括周末及公眾假期)工作。
入職條件
應徵者應:
(a) 最好完成中三課程;
(b) 在合適行業(如水喉/電氣/機械/裝修及維修/油漆及裝飾)完成完整的學徒訓練或其他認可實用訓練課程,並具備最少兩年相關工作經驗;
(c) 最好持有A級電業工程人員註冊證明書;及
(d) 持有建造業安全訓練證明書(即“平安咭”)。
秘書處可制訂進一步的準則,以選出初步入選的申請人。
薪酬
入職薪酬為每月19,535元,並按3個按年增薪額增至23,585元,另有為技工職級而設的每月現金津貼(現時的津貼額為每月360元)。成功受聘人士會按合約條款受聘,為期3年,倘完成服務期而工作表現良好,可獲續約,並會獲得一筆約滿酬金,其款額加上僱主在強制性公積金計劃下所作的供款,相等於合約期內所得底薪總額的10%。附帶福利包括有薪假期、醫療及牙科福利。工作表現優異者,有機會獲晉升至更高職級。
