Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is looking for a motivated and passionate candidate to join our Creative Industries, Sports and Entertainment Team as Senior Vice President (Entertainment & Sports) or Vice President (Entertainment & Sports). In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and supporting enterprises in entertainment and sports industries around the world to set up and expand in the city. You will be joining a team of sector specialists and deploy your business development, account servicing and account management skills to make an impact in generating leads for Hong Kong and beyond.
You will need to demonstrate:
(a) Experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry, preferably also in sports industry;
(b) extensive business network in entertainment (particularly in live entertainment, music or film) and preferably in sports industries too;
(c) proven track record in business development, sales and marketing, business matching and account servicing;
(d) excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
(e) capability in developing marketing materials and presentations, with good presentation and public speaking skills;
(f) relevant capability in implementing promotional or outreach activities; and
(g) excellent command of Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.
A candidate will be considered for either a Senior Vice President or a Vice President position depending on the experience and qualifications demonstrated.
Duties
(a) To provide one-stop business facilitation services and tailor-made support to enterprises setting up/ expanding their operations in Hong Kong and the region, with a focus on entertainment and sports industries businesses;
(b) To actively research and outreach to potential overseas investors from desktop research, software databases, media monitoring and attendance at networking and industry events, trade fairs and other activities and to follow up and establish contact with these leads;
(c) To work with InvestHK’s Mainland and overseas network, relevant government bureaux and departments, industry stakeholders and other industry associations to coordinate investment promotion and marketing activities to attract and retain companies in entertainment and sports industries;
(d) To coordinate and further expand the business matching, networking and other marketing efforts in the team, including preparing sales messages, presentations, marketing materials and providing support on project co-ordination, logistic arrangements, marketing and event management;
(e) To assist in receiving delegations/ senior executives and implementing visit programmes for Mainland/ overseas visitors; and
(f) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Entry Requirements
(a) Five years’ of relevant full-time work experience gained in the entertainment industries (in particular film, music, live entertainment), either in account servicing and management, business development, sales and marketing, investment/ trade promotion, public relations or event management, preferably also with relevant work experience in the sports industry;
(b) A Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing or management-related subjects; a higher degree and/ or professional qualifications in related discipline would be an advantage;
(c) Good business network in the industries of entertainment and sports; exposure to Mainland and international operations and business environment would be an advantage;
(d) Knowledge of the related ecosystem and business climate in Hong Kong and Asia would be an advantage;
(e) Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills; and
(f) A strong command of both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English. Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.
Terms of Appointment
Successful applicant will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for three months and the term will be extended up to an accumulative period of not more than 24 months subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of Invest Hong Kong. Under normal circumstances, there will usually be further renewal of contract, subject to the performance and conduct of the applicant, and the service need of the department.
Fringe Benefits
(a)
An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period; and
(b)
Applicant appointed will be granted 14 days of annual leave and the entitlement of annual leave will be calculated on pro-rata basis for appointment less than 12 months. Other benefits, such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/ paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

職責

(c) 與投資推廣署的內地及海外網絡、相關決策局及部門、行業持份者以及其他業界組織合作,籌辦投資推廣及市場推廣活動,藉此吸引娛樂及體育產業的企業在香港開設及拓展業務;
(d) 協調並加強支援團隊內的客戶配對、網絡及其他市場推廣工作,包括擬備銷售訊息、簡報及市場推廣材料,並為項目協調、後勤安排、市場推廣及活動統籌提供支援服務;

入職條件
(a) 具備五年在娛樂產業(尤其是電影、音樂或現場娛樂)取得的客戶服務及管理、業務拓展、銷售及市場推廣、投資/貿易推廣、公共關係或活動管理的相關全職工作經驗,同時具備體育產業的相關工作經驗者較佳;
(b) 持有香港任何一所大學所頒授的學士學位,或具同等學歷,以主修商業、市場學、管理學或相關科目者為佳;在相關範疇持有深造學位及/或持有專業資格者更佳;
(c) 在娛樂及體育產業擁有廣泛業務網絡,具備內地和國際業務及投資環境經驗者更佳;
(d) 了解相關行業以及香港和亞洲的營商環境更佳;
(e) 具備卓越的人際關係技巧及解決問題的能力;以及
(f) 中英文書面溝通技巧卓越,並能操流利廣東話、普通話及英語。通曉其他語言者更佳。
聘用條款
獲錄取的申請人將按非公務員合約條款聘用,為期3個月。視乎申請人的良好工作表現,期滿後投資推廣署將酌情延長合約,惟累計不超過24個月。一般情況下,申請人將會再獲續約﹙視乎申請人的工作表現和品行及屆時本署的服務需要)。
福利
(a) 受聘人如能圓滿地完成整個合約,並在合約期內一直維持良好的工作表現,可獲發一筆約滿酬金。該筆酬金,加上部門按照《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款,將相等於受聘人在合約期內支取的基本薪金總額的15%;及
(b) 可享有每年14天有薪年假。如合約期少於12個月,年假將按比例計算。受聘人亦可享有《僱傭條例》規定而又適用的其他福利,例如休息日、法定假日(或代替假日)、產假/侍產假和疾病津貼。
