As the Restaurant Manager at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will create an exciting, innovative, and memorable dining experience for all guests. Lead a well-rounded and knowledgeable front-of-house team. Proper guest service requires a staff that is thoroughly trained in service etiquette, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Overseeing daily operations of our all-day dining restaurant with poise and precision
Driving team engagement and guest satisfaction during high-volume services
Engaging with guests daily to gather feedback and refine the guest experience
Analyzing guest feedback and operational data to drive continuous improvement
Partnering with the culinary team to deliver seasonal, story-driven menus
Ensuring consistent execution of service standards and guest touchpoints
Supporting recruitment, training, and performance development of the service team.

What we need from you

A minimum of 6 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 years in managing all day dining or high volume restaurants
A bachelor’s degree in in hospitality management, restaurants, culinary management or equivalent
A holder of local Hygiene Manager Certificate and/or Food Safety and Hygiene certification
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Good planning, organising and problem solving skills
Ability to stay composed under pressure and lead by example
Passion for storytelling through food and service
Familiarity with luxury or lifestyle hotel standards is a plus
Excellent command in English speaking and writing; speaking Chinese and/or other languages is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
