Job Summary

Oversee end-to-end fresh food procurement for Hong Kong business. Manage supply chain, budget and team to achieve sales and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate procurement strategies, category plans and annual budgets for fresh produce.

Source and manage local & overseas suppliers, conduct price negotiation and contract review.

Monitor product quality, inventory and wastage, implement pricing and promotion plans.

Lead procurement team, establish standard workflows and liaise with head office & retail stores.

Conduct market and competitor research to optimise product portfolio.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years fresh food procurement experience in Hong Kong, with 3+ years team leadership experience. Experience in neighbourhood supermarket/ fresh retail is preferred.

Well-connected with local wholesale markets and import channels.

Strong commercial acumen in cost, gross profit and wastage control; data-driven decision maker.

Fluent in Cantonese, good command of English and Putonghua. Proficient in Excel & ERP systems.

Familiar with Hong Kong food safety regulations; Hong Kong ID holder.
