The role

Own day-to-day compensation, benefits, and payroll for a multi-entity, multi-country workforce. You will keep payroll accurate and on time, support C&B programs, and use data, light scripting, and AI tools to automate reporting, reduce errors, and make People Ops more efficient.

What you’ll do

Run monthly / bi-weekly payroll (and off-cycle payments) across entities; reconcile variances and close with Finance.
Administer compensation cycles: offers, adjustments, bonuses, equity/token or similar awards as applicable, and market benchmarking support.
Manage benefits enrolment, vendor files, and employee queries (insurance, leave, statutory items).
Maintain C&B / payroll data quality; produce headcount, cost, and exception reports for HR and Finance.
Use vibe coding (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or similar) to build small tools: file transforms, reconciliations, payroll checks, and recurring reports — without waiting on engineering.
Use Excel/Sheets, SQL or similar, and AI tools to speed up analysis, checklists, and documentation.
Partner with Legal/Finance on entity, tax, and crypto-industry specifics (e.g. multi-currency, contractor vs employee, variable pay).
Document processes so payroll and C&B remain auditable and scalable.

What we’re looking for

3+ years in C&B and/or payroll (multi-country or multi-entity a plus).
Solid grasp of payroll cycles, statutory compliance, and compensation mechanics.
Hands-on vibe coding experience is strongly preferred — you have used Cursor, Codex, or similar AI coding tools to ship real scripts or small apps (Python, SQL, Apps Script, etc.), not just chat.
Comfortable with data: Excel (lookups, pivots), and ideally SQL or BI for simple queries/dashboards.
Clear communicator; careful with confidential pay data.

Nice to have

Workday, BambooHR, Deel, ADP, or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
Experience with variable / trading-related compensation or equity administration.
Other APAC payroll exposure.
