We are supporting a Hong Kong-based investment platform, with a strong focus on AI and emerging technology investments.

As the platform continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager / Accountant to take ownership of the finance function across multiple entities and investment activities.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and wants broad exposure across accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities

Own day-to-day accounting and finance operations across multiple Hong Kong and overseas entities.
Manage bookkeeping, payments, bank reconciliations, cash flow and expense management.
Maintain accurate records of investment transactions, capital movements and portfolio-related activities.
Support cash management, budgeting and financial planning.
Coordinate with external accounting firms, auditors, tax advisors, banks and other professional service providers.
Oversee annual audits, tax filings and statutory compliance.
Prepare regular financial and management reports for senior stakeholders.
Help build and improve finance processes, reporting systems and internal controls as the platform scales.
Support ad hoc investment and finance-related projects as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, family office, fund administration, asset management, investment or a similar environment.
Solid knowledge of Hong Kong accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
Experience managing multiple entities and/or investment-related transactions is highly preferred.
Background in Big 4, private equity, venture capital, asset management, family offices or professional services is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Highly self-motivated, hands-on and comfortable working independently.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
