About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the daily accounting and financial administration of a private family office in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will mainly handle routine bookkeeping, payments, tax-related documentation, expense records and general finance administration.

This is a junior and hands-on position. The ideal candidate is someone who has a good foundation in accounting, is careful with numbers, reliable, organised and comfortable handling routine finance work independently after proper guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily bookkeeping and maintain accounting records
Record income, expenses and other financial transactions
Process invoices, payments and reimbursements
Perform bank reconciliation
Maintain and organise invoices, receipts, bank statements and supporting documents
Assist with monthly and year-end account closing
Prepare accounting information and supporting documents for Hong Kong tax filings
Assist with Profits Tax Return and other routine tax matters
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors and company secretary when required
Maintain simple expense and cash flow records
Prepare basic financial summaries and reports
Assist with bank-related documentation and administration
Support other routine finance and administrative matters of the family office

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
Around 1–3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
Basic understanding of Hong Kong accounting and taxation is preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Excel
Good command of Cantonese and Mandarin
Basic working English is sufficient
