To cope with our business growth, we are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join us as Relationship Manager in Financial Institutions Department.

Job Responsibilities

Maximize revenue by being accountable for proactively growing assigned client portfolio/segments (insurance and asset management, etc.) through new-to-bank acquisition, deepening product penetration for existing customers and driving balance sheet growth across assets and liabilities aligned to the Group’s strategy of growing revenues and portfolio Return on Equity
Ability to introduce new opportunities and develop a trusted advisor status with key client decision makers in order to grow long-term relationships
To perform the role as senior coverage for clients hubbed out of Hong Kong as regional treasury centers
To act as first line of defence to ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external standards that apply to the conduct of the business, including but not limited to KYC, AML regulations and credit limit management, monitoring of credit risks, including taking timely actions to assess the credit risk and qualified credit limit
Participating in client onboarding end-to-end implementation including but not limited to sales pitching, onboarding process, post-sales services ,etc.
To prepare, review, oversee and facilities approvals, credit documentation and stakeholders liaison internally and externally
To lead and manage Know Your Customer and respective Customer Due Diligence
Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and cross-selling products/services

Job Requirements

Degree holder in Finance or related disciplines
Minimum 10 years of experience in Non-Bank Financial Institutions and particularly track record dealing with Insurance, Asset Management, Fund Managers, etc.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) with strong presentation skills
Strong exposure and connection to Insurance, Funds, Asset Management, etc.
A proven track record in client origination, relationship building and cross-selling marketing with the respective Non-Bank Financial Institutions clients
Good understanding of the respective client segments with a demonstratable track record in maximizing revenue growth
Strong banking product knowledge including deposit, treasury, capital markets and Non-Bank Financial Institutions lending products
Solid credit analytical analysis and risk management skills
Strong communication and analytical skill
A self-starter, team player, multi-tasking and is passionate about the start-up business
SFC license preferrable
