Job Description

The Associate is responsible for supporting search execution through market mapping, candidate identification, sourcing, and initial candidate assessment. The Associate will work collaboratively with consultants and research colleagues to develop talent pools, conduct candidate outreach, maintain accurate search data, and assist in delivering high-quality search outcomes for clients. Based on the Senior Associate responsibilities for research, sourcing, screening, pipeline development, and database management.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Search Research & Candidate Sourcing

Support consultants and senior team members in developing sourcing strategies for search assignments.
Conduct market research to identify target companies, talent pools, and relevant candidate profiles.
Build long lists of potential candidates aligned with client requirements.
Utilize multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, market intelligence, and online research.

Candidate Engagement & Assessment

Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement activities.
Perform resume reviews and preliminary candidate screening.
Conduct introductory telephone or virtual screening interviews.
Assess candidates against agreed competencies, qualifications, and role requirements.
Provide accurate candidate summaries and recommendations to the search team.

Pipeline Development & Search Delivery

Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for current and future search assignments.
Track candidate activity and maintain accurate search records within the firm's systems.
Support multiple concurrent search assignments while meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Team & Client Support

Collaborate with consultants, senior associates, and search colleagues to execute client mandates.
Assist in preparing search documentation, market intelligence reports, candidate profiles, and search updates.
Participate in internal search meetings and project discussions.
Support ongoing business development and talent mapping initiatives as required.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in executive search, recruitment, talent acquisition, research, or candidate sourcing.
Experience conducting market mapping, candidate identification, or recruitment research is preferred.
Exposure to search firm, RPO, agency, or in-house recruitment environments is advantageous.
Experience supporting multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
