Role Description:

The Accounting Officer/Assistant Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting activities, including preparing and maintaining accounting records, posting journal entries, and assisting with monthly and year-end closing. The role also includes handling accounts receivable& invoicing, supporting accounts payable & expense, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The Accounting Officer/Assistant Accountant will collaborate closely with finance and operations teams and provide support for audits and ad hoc financial analyses.

Responsibilities:

Perform Accounts Receivable & invoicing process
Assist the Finance team in daily accounts operation e.g. supplier’s invoice checking and data inputting
Review and input Expenses Claims for staff
Support in Preparation of the Month End Closing i.e. Accounting Schedules Preparation and Accounts Reconciliation
Ensure financial data accuracy and audit readiness
Documents filing and record keeping
Perform ad hoc administrative support

Skills Required:

At least 1-2 year of experience in handling accounts, fresh graduates are welcome, experienced candidates will be considered as Assistant Accountant
Good command of English (Mandarin is a plus)
Familiar with G-Suite is a plus
Good organisational skills & interpersonal communication skills
Accurate, diligent and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, disciplined and resourceful
Works well in a team and willing to assist with ad-hoc responsibilities
Immediate available is preferable
