Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support business intelligence, analytics, and data applications.
Work with Databricks to develop and manage data processing and transformation workflows.
Develop data solutions using Python and SQL.
Work with cloud-based data platforms and services, including Microsoft Fabric.
Perform data integration, cleansing, transformation, and optimization across multiple data sources.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
Contribute to data architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
Experience with Databricks is highly preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other modern cloud data platforms is an advantage.
Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, and data modelling.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data processing performance.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Must Have:

3+ years Data Engineering experience

Strongly Preferred:

Databricks
Microsoft Fabric

Good to Have:

Cloud platforms such as Azure / AWS / GCP
PySpark
Data warehouse / Lakehouse architecture
CI/CD and DevOps experience
Power BI or other BI tools

Candidate Profile

A hands-on Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and ideally hands-on Databricks experience. Candidates with GRAL project experience and the ability to communicate professionally in both English and Cantonese will be highly relevant.
