Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Assistant Finance Manager will undertake the following:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts in coordination with department heads.
Assist in monitoring budget utilization and provide variance analysis with recommendations.
Assisting in managing day-to-day financial operations (e.g., cash flow, accounts payable & receivable).
Collect and review financial data to assist the management to identify trends, variances, and business performance indicators.
Assist the management in liaising with auditors, insurers, and external parties for financial compliance and payment collection.
Support the implementation and optimization of fee collection systems and financial information systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software).
Support the implementation of the new finance system by providing functional input, testing support, and process alignment to ensure successful adoption and integration.
Assist in reviewing and applying internal control policies to help safeguard company assets and support compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree, and preferably with professional qualification in accounting
At least 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a sizeable organization or statutory body
Hands-on experience with financial information systems and preferably in procurement
Conversant with the latest accounting principles and regulations
Good IT knowledge and familiar with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and financial information software
Strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills, and able to work under pressure
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
