We’re looking for a Production Manager in Hong Kong to manage sourcing and production for our overseas Entertainment Marketing orders. Based close to our supply partners across China and South-East Asia, this role is all about keeping jobs moving from brief through to delivery, making sure products are sourced well, produced well and delivered to the right quality, safety and compliance standards.

You’ll work closely with Production, Creative, Sales, suppliers and clients across sourcing, samples, timelines, costing, QC, testing and production updates.

What you’ll be doing

Source products through approved supply partners across China and South-East Asia
Identify and onboard new vendors where needed
Manage production timelines, goods ready dates, delivery dates and shipping cut-offs
Oversee prototypes, sales samples and pre-production samples
Book and manage QC inspections and lab testing
Provide accurate job costings using Zinc’s costing platforms
Keep Monday boards and internal systems up to date so everyone has clear visibility
Make sure projects meet safety, legal and client-specific compliance requirements
Attend trade shows and ideation sessions, bringing new ideas and product thinking back to the team
Communicate clearly with suppliers, clients and internal teams

What we’re looking for

Experience in production, sourcing, vendor management or a similar product role
Strong knowledge of offshore manufacturing, ideally across China and South-East Asia
Good understanding of samples, QC, lab testing and compliance requirements
Strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
Commercial awareness across costing, timelines, quality and supplier performance
Clear communication and confidence working with suppliers, clients and internal teams
Strong attention to detail
Someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping things moving and working as part of a team

Experience with licensed products, consumer goods, promotional products or entertainment merchandise would be a bonus, but what matters most is strong production judgement, supplier confidence and the ability to stay calm when there are a lot of moving parts.
