Job Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic media agency. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial reporting with integrity and maintenance of effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

· Support Finance Manager in daily operations, month-end closing and monthly forecasts

· Process month-end duties and monitor AR, AP, GL and related financial matters, ensure transactions are recorded properly, accurately, timely and in compliance with statutory, SOX and group requirements

· Prepare financial reports, schedules, reconciliation & perform financial analysis

· Assist in implementation, maintenance and testing of financial controls within accounting and media systems to ensure data integrity and compliance

· Assist in external audits, tax filing and other statutory reporting

· Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Qualifications

· Diploma or above in Accounting (LCCI Higher or equivalent qualification)

· Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience

· Experience in the media or advertising industry is highly desirable

Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Responsible, independent and attentive to details

· Proficiency in financial system (SAP and Oracle) and MS Office Suite

· Familiarity with media management platforms and systems

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Working Location: Cyberport (數碼港), Hong Kong
