Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AML) | Hong Kong

We're partnering with a fast-growing financial services platform that is expanding its regulated business lines across Hong Kong. As the business enters its next phase of growth, they're looking for an experienced AML professional to help shape and strengthen the financial crime compliance framework from the ground up.

This is an opportunity to move beyond BAU compliance into a role where you'll influence how AML controls, governance and operational processes are designed as the platform continues to scale.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior compliance and business leaders, you will:

Help design and enhance the firm's AML/CFT framework across a growing regulated business.
Partner with stakeholders to implement practical, risk-based compliance controls.
Support regulatory engagements, governance initiatives and internal compliance programmes.
Drive improvements across customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, sanctions controls and financial crime operations.
Contribute to compliance technology, automation and process optimisation initiatives.
Help build scalable compliance infrastructure capable of supporting future business growth.

About You

We're interested in professionals who bring:

4–8 years of AML, financial crime or compliance experience within regulated financial services.
Experience gained in fintech, payments, remittance, banking, financial institutions or similar regulated environments.
Exposure to SFC-regulated environments, investment services, or wealth-related compliance frameworks
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong AML/CFT requirements and risk-based compliance frameworks.
Hands-on exposure to customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, investigations and sanctions compliance.
The ability to balance regulatory expectations with commercial growth in a fast-moving business.
Professional AML certifications such as CAMS, ICA or equivalent will be viewed favourably.
