About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Hong Kong. You'll own daily accounting operations, support our reporting and closing cycles, and partner with overseas entities as we scale.

Job responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable and payable, staff reimbursements, review journal entries
Prepare and review month-end closing, reconciliation and supporting schedules
Prepare group consolidation financial statements, supporting schedules and management reports
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Assist in streamlining accounting processes and strengthening internal controls
Liaise with external auditors for preparation of annual audit
Perform ad hoc projects and special assignments

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
Qualified accountant with related professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA / ACCA / CPAA
Minimum 3 years of Big 4 audit experience and 3 years of relevant accounting commercial experience
Proficient in written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Proficiency in Excel skills
Familiarity with QuickBooks (accounting software) is preferred but not mandatory
Experience with both IFRS and USGAAP is preferred
Detail-oriented, self-driven, strong sense of responsibility, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently
Good interpersonal skills and team player
Immediate available is preferred
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Accountant
