Role Description:

As an Assistant Compliance Manager, you will support the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. You will assist in monitoring compliance activities across business functions, helping to identify potential risks, control gaps, and areas requiring remediation. Your role involves supporting compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments, and ensuring accurate documentation of findings and corrective actions.

You will work closely with the Compliance Manager and cross-functional teams to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical operational procedures. You will assist in updating internal policies, maintaining compliance records, and tracking regulatory changes to ensure timely alignment with evolving requirements. In addition, you will help prepare compliance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and senior management.

You will also contribute to the execution of training and awareness programs to promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization. You may assist in investigating compliance issues, supporting escalation processes, and ensuring that cases are resolved in accordance with internal governance standards.

This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a structured and regulated environment. You will play an important supporting role in ensuring that compliance standards are consistently applied and that organizational risk is effectively managed.

Qualifications:

Strong academic background in law, business administration, finance, economics, risk management, or related disciplines. Strong understanding of compliance principles, regulatory frameworks, and internal control systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and support practical implementation. Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and consistency. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across multiple teams. Ability to assist in audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments in a structured manner. Familiarity with compliance tools, reporting systems, or case management platforms is advantageous. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a controlled environment. High level of integrity, ethical awareness, and commitment to compliance standards. Willingness to learn and develop expertise in regulatory and governance practices. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
