We are looking for an Accountant to join a Hong Kong-based market making and trading firm.

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of accounting experience, with English mandatory. Prior experience working in a small firm, startup, trading company, investment firm, or fast-moving environment is preferred.

We are looking for someone hands-on who has managed the full accounting process, not only one specific accounting function.

Responsibilities:

* Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting entries

* Manage invoice entry, payments, expenses, and reconciliations

* Maintain accurate accounting records across company and bank accounts

* Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet and income statement

* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

* Support investor reports and management reporting

* Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audit process

* Organize invoices, receipts, contracts, and supporting documents

* Support cash flow tracking, budgeting, and internal financial controls

* Help improve accounting processes and reporting procedures

Requirements:

* 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

* English is mandatory, both written and spoken

* Preferably worked in a small firm or fast-paced company environment

* Experience handling the full process from invoice entry to financial statements

* Able to prepare or support balance sheet, income statement, investor reports, and audit documentation

* Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

* Experience with accounting software

* Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and able to work independently

* Knowledge of trading, market making, crypto, financial markets, or digital assets is a plus, but not mandatory
