Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with overseas outsourced accounting service providers, oversee the full-cycle work for overseas legal entities including financial statement preparation, local tax compliance filing and annual statutory audits, ensuring data accuracy and on-time deliverable.

2. Perform monthly review of accounting records for overseas subsidiaries and branches, and prepare overseas financial statements in compliance with Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS).

3. Support the corporate headquarters in preparing consolidated group financial statements and fulfilling cross-border financial data disclosure obligations.

4. Conduct review of overseas project costs and expenditures, and assist with monitoring budget performance against forecasts.

5. Monitor updates to OECD international tax frameworks and cross-border fiscal and taxation regulations, assess commercial impacts of policy changes, and develop practical mitigation plans to manage financial and tax exposures.

6. Manage end-to-end compliance for cross-border related party transactions; lead the compilation, drafting and periodic refresh of full transfer pricing documentation, supporting evidence and supplementary records for intercompany dealings.

7. Partner with commercial and legal teams to conduct financial reviews of overseas contracts, pinpoint financial, tax and treasury risks embedded within contractual terms, and propose actionable remedial improvements.

8. Develop a standardized filing framework for cross-border financial and tax records; systematically organize and retain source documents, tax payment receipts, audit reports, transfer pricing files and other jurisdiction-specific records to facilitate prompt access for internal reviews, external audits and tax authority examinations.

9. Refine internal financial control frameworks for overseas subsidiaries; conduct periodic special internal reviews covering accounting, tax, expenditure and treasury operations, identify emerging cross-border financial and tax risks, and drive corresponding corrective remediation measures.

Job Requirements

1. Comprehensive hands-on experience covering the full spectrum of accounting operations, budget planning, treasury management and cost & expense governance. Candidates with multinational corporation (MNC) or overseas work experience will be prioritized.

2. Strong professional judgement, robust risk oversight capabilities and solid financial analytical skills.

3. Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex cross-border financial management matters.

4. Exceptional communication, cross-functional coordination and result delivery capabilities.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and mainstream ERP systems; advanced competency in Excel for financial modelling and large-scale data analysis.

6. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or other relevant business disciplines.

7. Holding Intermediate Accountant qualification or above; holders of internationally recognized professional credentials including CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.

8. Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese; excellent written and spoken English capable of serving as the primary daily working language for global business communication.

9. Ready to undertake short-term and long-term overseas business assignments in line with corporate operational needs; travel allowances will be provided for all business trips.
