Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Assistant role based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will support day-to-day finance operations, including preparing and processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable

Job Scope / Responsibilities

Verify and process vendor invoices by checking against purchase orders, contracts, and agreed pricing/terms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle and centralise all accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations.
Prepare and issue invoices to customers, ensuring accurate application of credit terms and timely delivery.
Manage billing for customers, ensuring charges are accurately calculated, recorded, and applied.
Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Maintain accurate and organised accounting records.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors/customers to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
Perform any other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles with the ability to handle daily transactional work.
Proficiency in invoicing, data entry, verification, and reconciliation processes.
Good analytical skills with the ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies.
Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Experience using AI tools for research, drafting, data analysis, or process improvement will be given priority.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
