Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. You will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs that promote ethical business practices and reduce regulatory risk.

Your responsibilities include conducting compliance reviews, monitoring regulatory updates, assessing business processes for compliance risks, and supporting the implementation of internal controls. You will investigate potential compliance issues, document findings, and assist in developing corrective action plans to address identified gaps.

The role involves preparing compliance reports, maintaining records, and supporting internal and external audits. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure policies are properly implemented and understood, and you will contribute to compliance training and awareness initiatives across the organization.

Through strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach, you will help ensure ongoing compliance, strengthen governance frameworks, and support the organization’s risk management objectives.

Qualifications

Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and internal control systems.
Risk Assessment : Ability to identify, evaluate, and monitor compliance risks and control gaps.
Audit Support : Experience supporting internal/external audits and compliance reviews.
Research & Analysis : Ability to interpret regulations, policies, and business processes.
Reporting & Documentation : Strong skills in preparing reports and maintaining accurate compliance records.
Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy when reviewing data, processes, and documentation.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly to stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to investigate issues and support corrective actions.
Education : Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
