What you’ll be doing:

This position is responsible for delivering consolidated financial reporting for the group as well as local HK legal entities, including group reporting package from all oversea entities, Global Finance Operations (GFO) and other relevant parties. Exercising head office Finance leadership, this position will work closely with teams within and outside of HK to strengthen the integrity of financial records, determine / implement finance policies, review adequacy of financial recording processes etc, and maintaining overall finance controls discipline for the group.

Responsible for financial reporting for HK legal entities and the Group: Group Consolidated Financial Statement, monthly financial reports (company level), other ad-hoc finance reports
Work closely with all dept. heads to seek their requirements and justification for the annual budget and forecast and perform monthly follow-up with them
Monitor the timeliness and quality of deliverables prepared by GFO
Provide Group guidance on technical accounting matters and prepare finance & accounting policies
Support in liaising with external audit & other consultants and professionals
Strengthen financial controls within the group : ensure integrity of financial records ; design, review and implement financial recording processes, provide training, etc.
Assist in ERP implementation
Any ad hoc duties as assigned

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
Experience in manager level with at least 3 years in medium to large sized MNC
At least 4 years’ experience gained from Big 4 audit firms, familiar with preparation of Group Consolidated financial statement, preferably from service industry
Technical sound, well versed with latest IFRS and Tax regulations
Strong analytical skill, with excellent report writing skills
Matured, self-initiated, independently, with good interpersonal skills dealing with different levels of management and GFO
MUST BE proficient in MS office. Candidates experienced in using Sun and D365 Accounting Systems would stand at advantage.
Travelling is required.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
