Job Purpose

Support General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Costing functions to ensure accurate accounting records, timely financial closing, and reliable cost information in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain General Ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Support month-end and year-end closing, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Manage Fixed Assets register, including asset additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and periodic reconciliation.
Assist in costing activities, including cost allocation, tracking, and analysis of operational or production costs.
Prepare accounting schedules and reports for management, audit, and internal review.
Support statutory audit and internal control reviews by providing required documentation and explanations.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Student member of a recognized professional accounting body (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) is preferred.
At least 2 years of working experience in accountancy firm or commercial sector
Mature, independent and able to work under pressure
Analytical, detailed-oriented and sense of crisis management
Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of responsibility
Strong command in speaking & writing English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
