The PM Engineer is responsible for leading the preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively. This role drives maintenance excellence through the optimization of SAP PM systems, implementation of digital maintenance processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintenance performance analysis.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, improve maintenance efficiency, and support the overall operational objectives of the plant.

Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance & Reliability

Lead and optimize the preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
Develop and continuously improve PM strategies, conduct equipment performance reviews, perform RCA and RCM analyses, and drive maintenance excellence initiatives.
Plan and support major equipment overhauls, refurbishment activities, and the implementation of Asset Care (AC) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) programs.

Maintenance Planning & System Management

Manage the SAP PM system and electronic work order processes to standardize maintenance execution.
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance activities with cross-functional stakeholders.
Oversee maintenance work orders, documentation, SOPs, maintenance manuals, and PM inspection standards while ensuring timely completion and closure.

Engineering Projects & Continuous Improvement

Participate in equipment upgrades, engineering projects, and capital improvement initiatives, including design, budgeting, implementation, and commissioning.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Spare Parts, Cost Control & Reporting

Optimize spare parts management and procurement strategies to support equipment reliability while minimizing inventory costs.
Monitor maintenance performance, prepare monthly PM reports, and support annual maintenance and capital budget planning.
Drive maintenance cost control initiatives while maintaining equipment stability and performance.

Training & Compliance

Develop and deliver technical training and capability-building programs for engineering and maintenance teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, management systems, and safety standards.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in maintenance engineering, equipment management, or manufacturing engineering.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance engineering principles and solid understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment management practices.
Experience with SAP PM or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements with strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, innovative, and results-oriented.
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written.
