Senior Associate (Finance)

Key Responsibilities

Support full spectrum finance duties including day-to-day accounting operations (General Ledger, AP/AR, intercompany accounts, capex/project votes, etc.), annual budgeting, financial reporting, budgetary & internal control, year-end audit, system & BI tools implementation, etc.
Ensure the accurate preparation of expenditure disbursements, the meticulous maintenance of financial records, and compliance with relevant accounting standards
Handle month end closing of multiple entities and Group consolidation on quarterly basis.
Prepare financial dashboard, management accounting reports, and in-depth financial analysis as feedback to subject teams and KPI owners on regular basis
Monitor liquidity & cash flow position
Take up ad-hoc assignments as needed

Requirements

University degree in accounting or a related field
Professional accounting qualifications are required
At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance, preferably within the financial services sector
Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools rollout (including data preparation, cleansing and structuring) and Finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation is highly desirable
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel. Familiarity with BI and AI tools, and major accounting platforms is essential, with super-user experience in control workflows and reports configuration preferred
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Candidates with supplementary experience and qualifications will also be considered, even if they do not meet all of the specified requirements above

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Associate level.)
