Role Description

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining ethical business conduct, mitigating regulatory risk, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.

Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures. The role involves monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on business operations, and ensuring timely updates to internal controls. The Compliance Officer conducts compliance reviews and risk assessments, identifies potential areas of exposure, and works with relevant stakeholders to design and implement corrective actions.

It works closely with internal audit, legal, risk management, and business units to ensure alignment and effective governance.
