Job Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic media agency. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of effective internal controls. It also plays a key role in strategic planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Support Assistant Finance Manager in daily operations, month-end closing and monthly forecasts
Coordinate with Shared Services Centre to process month-end duties and monitor AR, AP, GL and related financial matters, ensure transactions are recorded properly, accurately, timely and in compliance with statutory, SOX and group requirements
Prepare financial reports, schedules, reconciliation & perform financial analysis
Liaise business units and other departments on budget, forecast and cost control
Assist in implementation, maintenance and testing of financial controls within accounting and media systems to ensure data integrity and compliance
Assist in external audits, tax filing and other statutory reporting
Support Assistant Finance Manager on Client compliance audit and Credit management
Handle company secretary matters
Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Diploma or above in Accounting (LCCI Higher or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Experience in the media industry or 4As is highly desirable

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsible, independent and attentive to details
Proficiency in financial system (SAP and Oracle) and MS Office Suite
Familiarity with media management platforms and systems will be an asset
Good command of both English and Mandarin
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
