Job Purpose

Manage Quality HealthCare’s daily Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Provider Relationship and payments services
Play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions, strong financial controls, effective cash flow management, and high service standards delivered through both onshore and offshore finance teams.
Drive efficiency, implement best practices, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions.
Play a key role in optimising processes, embedding best practices, strengthening controls, and driving automation and operational efficiency, while supporting statutory reporting, audits, and ad‑hoc business initiatives.
Requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of finance processes, a strategic mindset, and exceptional managerial skills
Perform ad-hoc tasks and participate in other projects as required
Quality HealthCare’s Finance Operations are delivered through an operating model consisting of an onshore team in Hong Kong and an offshore team in Jaipur India and Foshan, China.

Responsibilities

Finance Operations Delivery – Manage daily finance operations covering AP, AR, Banking, Provider Relationship and Payments.Ensure all transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a strong operational cadence with offshore teams, ensuring service levels, quality, and turnaround times are achieved..
Cash Flow Management – Monitor day-to-day cash position. Budget and forecast for daily cash movements including collections and payments.
Credit Control – Partner with business stakeholders and credit control to monitor debtor ageing, identify risks, and drive timely follow‑up actions.
Month‑End Closing and Financial Reporting Support – Support and contribute to the monthly financial close, ensuring journals, reconciliations, and operational controls are completed on time and to a high standard. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.
Team Leadership – Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide clear direction on priorities, performance expectations, and development needs.
Risk Management and Compliance – Ensure finance operations comply with Group risk frameworks, internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong documentation of processes, controls, and approvals.
Vendor Management – Strong management of the performance of the off-shore partner by closely monitoring the key performance indicators to service level agreement. Actively participate in and improve the established governance framework between Bupa and its off-shore partner.
Audit Management – Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and coordinating with auditors.
Systems, Automation, and Continuous Improvement – Review and improve end‑to‑end finance operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. Support finance system changes, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring process alignment and control integrity.
Support other ad hoc projects

Qualifications, Training and Experience

6 years proven experience in finance operations, banking, accounts payables or accounts receivables officer role or similar in a large and complex corporate
Finance or Accounting degree holder or above
Qualified accountant of international recognized accounting bodies is a plus
Big 4 experience is a plus
Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management
Proven experience executing finance operations processes and procedures in a high volume and complex environment as required
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Good knowledge of accounting principles is mandatory
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior exposure to ERP or similar software applications
Prior exposure to implementation of process automation technology will be an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
