We are partnering with a growing multi-family office based in Hong Kong to appoint a senior Deputy COO / Responsible Officer to support the continued development of the platform.

This is a highly visible role working closely with senior leadership, with broad exposure across compliance, operations, regulatory matters, and business management. The successful candidate will initially work alongside the existing leadership team and gradually take ownership of operational and administrative functions across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Responsible Officer under Hong Kong SFC regulations (Type 1 and Type 4, with involvement in Type 9 application)

• Oversee regulatory compliance and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities and external service providers

• Support day-to-day operational management of the platform across compliance, governance, HR, administration, and business operations

• Work closely with senior management on strategic and operational initiatives

• Ensure the firm maintains robust internal controls, policies, and operational procedures

• Assist in managing a lean and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Approximately 15+ years of relevant experience within asset management, private banking, wealth management, family office, or financial services consulting

• Strong Hong Kong regulatory and compliance background with hands-on SFC experience

• Existing or previous Responsible Officer experience preferred

• Familiarity with Type 1 and Type 4 regulated activities; exposure to Type 9 highly advantageous

• Strong operational mindset with willingness to work in a hands-on environment

• Mature, detail-oriented, and highly trustworthy personality

• Fluent English and Chinese
