Job Title: Head of Industrial Design

Focus: Global Market / Maternal & Infant Smart Hardware

Role Summary: We are seeking a visionary Head of Industrial Design to lead our global product design strategy, with a strong focus on the NA/EU markets. Driven by extreme empathy for the maternal and female demographic, you will oversee the end-to-end innovation of smart hardware, seamlessly integrating physical form with digital user experience (UX) to create globally successful, highly safe, and aesthetically exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Strategy & Brand PI: Define long-term design strategies and establish a cohesive Product Identity (PI) and visual design system across all product lines.
End-to-End Execution: Lead the complete ID workflow from user research and ideation to CMF and mass production. Strictly enforce the highest safety, ergonomic, and quality standards required for maternal/infant products, while advocating for sustainable materials.
Hardware & UX Synergy: Champion the ultimate User Experience (UX) across all products, thinking holistically about intelligent, digital-to-physical human-machine interactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to drive design concepts from ideation to final delivery, ensuring design integrity and manufacturability without compromising safety.
Team Leadership: Build, optimize, and mentor a high-performing design team, implementing standardized workflows and fostering a culture of user-centric innovation.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial/Product Design; 10+ years of ID experience with 3+ years in leadership. Proven "1 to N" commercial success in maternal/infant smart hardware, wearables, med-tech, or premium personal care is highly preferred.
Global Perspective: Deep understanding of North American and European aesthetic preferences, cultural nuances, and parenting habits. Winners of Red Dot, iF, IDEA, or G-Mark are strongly preferred.
Technical & CMF Mastery: Exceptional sketching and 3D modeling skills. Deep expertise in CMF specifically for maternal/women's products (skin-friendly, safe materials, warm textures) and solid knowledge of plastic/silicone molding, tooling, and mass production.
Soft Skills & Empathy: Empathy and human-centric care for mothers and infants. Results-driven, excellent at cross-functional collaboration, and capable of driving projects in a fast-paced tech environment.
Language Proficiency: English as a working language is required for participating in global team collaborations.
